Two Weeks in Bali & My Makeup Bag

Well, this place to me was paradise. Its been on my bucket list for years and it did not disappoint one little bit, id go as far to say its the best destination I've visited so far.

Everything from the gorgeous scenery, to the vibe, the people and the food.

I went with my boyfriend and traveled from Manchester UK which took approx. 18 long hours including an hours stop over in Qatar.

First stop was Ubud aka the most chilled place on earth, for four nights.

Photos above show just a few snaps from Ubud including the Bali Swing, Tegenungan Waterfall and the infinity pool at Goya Boutique Hotel.

Ubud was a beautiful place and I would highly recommend it to get an authentic feel for Bali.

However after 4 nights in the jungle I was more than ready for some island life so next stop was Gili T for 4 nights.

All I can say for Gili T is AMAZING!

The iconic sunsets and having dinner on the beach every night was incredible. We also had a boat trip out to Gili Air which was lovely. The nightlife was also a lot more lively than Ubud too.

From Gili T it was back to Bali to stay in Seminyak for 5 nights, coming to Seminyak was like a little trip back to reality as it is a lot busier and more built up.

In Seminyak we done Potato Head beach club, Finns Beach Club, Favelas club, lots of nice restaurants and spent two of the days out in Canggu and Uluwatu.

So....... What was in the makeup bag?

1. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream - This is my go to moisturiser, I love it because it does the job but absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy residue on the skin.

2. CT Unisex Healthy Glow - This product was brand new at the time so it was quite risky taking it away but I am glad I did! It comes out white and when you start blending it into the skin the pigment comes out and morphs to your natural skin tone, it has very little coverage and just evens out the skin leaving a lovely glow.

3. Nars Creamy Concealer - I do love the durability of this concealer however I found it best only to apply a little bit of powder over the top as it can be quite drying.

4. CT Ibiza Beach Stick - Love the beach sticks! Not only are they so easy to use they also smell amazing. I apply this product to my cheeks and forehead so it gives a bronzed look and also adds a subtle contour. It is a warm shade though so best to be used as a bronzer.

5. CT Airbush Flawless Finish - I love this powder for when you are going for a glowing skin because its made with rose wax and almond oil so keeps your skin really silky.

6. CT Beauty Glow Palette - This has to be the my most favourite product I brought with me. It was so convenient as it contains a bronzer, highlighter, two cheek colours and three eyeshadows. The size of the mirror is also great to do your whole makeup in it anywhere you are.

7. NYX Doll Lash -  This mascara was just OK, it done the job but I did not repurchase when it ran out as I much prefer the finish on the Maybelline Lash Sensational.

8. CT Legendary Brows - Being a redhead its inevitable that the fair hairs on my brows come through pretty quick in-between tints so this product in shade 'super model' is my best friend for hiding them and adding colour. The size of the tiny brush is also great to catch every single fine hair to give a fuller look to the brow.

Believe it or not I actually didn't really take any selfies while I was in Bali when I had makeup on.

The one on the left was after a night out in Seminyak and the best one I could find.

The lipstick is Charlotte Tilbury 'Tell Laura'

I had so much CT in my makeup bag on this trip but I have really fell in love with products and they are perfect for achieving a natural glowing makeup look.

I could've gone on forever about Bali because it was so amazing, id recommend a visit to anyone.

Thanks for reading.
